On May 11th @ 6:30pm we will hold our May Acadiana Software Group meeting! Our community and advisory team member Tre King will give us insight into utilizing Bash Scripting for Dev Ops on Amazon’s Cloud. In his presentation, Tre will demonstrate the automation capabilities available for AWS via standard Linux shell. He’ll be focusing on the common “LAMP” stack, which includes an Apache 2 web server, MySQL or MariaDB, and PHP, all running atop a base Linux environment. Come learn how to get your virtual server instance deployed and configured with the aid of a few lines of code that will do the heavy lifting for you. Join ASG on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 @ LITE center to learn from Tre King of INFASCINATOIN, LLC about how to make your life simpler and automate you LAMP stack setup.
Automating LAMP stack setup using Bash shell script on Amazon Web Services
Over 53% of the web servers on the internet are powered by Apache technology and over 65% of the internet web servers are running flavors of Linux/Unix OS. Setup and configuration of web servers can be daunting for the less experienced, but it does not have to be a difficult process thanks to Bash script automation.
Tre King is a currently working with CGI in Lafayette as AWS Cloud Engineer on the Emerging Technologies Practice team. He is a business owner and serial entrepreneur circa 2010. He is an accredited Amazon Business Professional and Amazon Technical Professional.
